The heart of chronic disease management lies in patient compliance and education. mHealth apps provide a means of enforcing medication adherence, safety monitoring, and access to health information. Thereby decreasing any gaps in disease diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and compliance for chronic disease patients. The end result is improved efficacy and clinical outcomes, which is great for both patients and insurance payers.
